The Behavior Supports in Schools Collaborative is a new multidisciplinary network for the Washington educators, administrators, and support staff who support students’ behavioral health, social-emotional needs, and behavioral challenges. What happened when our network gathered for the first time?
The Behavior Supports in Schools Collaborative gathered this week at our first quarterly meeting to learn about a behavior supports framework and deepen connections with nearly 100 colleagues statewide. Attendees:
- Discussed current behavioral and mental health data
- Examined challenges and gaps in service
- Explored a behavior supports framework to guide our work
- Built relationships with colleagues in breakout groups by district size
