The Behavior Supports in Schools Collaborative is a multidisciplinary network for the Washington educators, administrators, and support staff who support students’ behavioral health, social-emotional needs, and behavioral challenges. On January 29, 2025, our collaborative gathered for its second quarterly meeting.
The Behavior Supports in Schools Collaborative gathered this week for our second quarterly meeting to learn about the intersection of the Multi-tiered System of Supports (MTSS) framework and behavior systems and deepen connections with 70 colleagues statewide. Attendees:
- Built understanding around how behavior systems fit within the MTSS framework
- Explored the connections between procedure, process, and policies
- Engaged in breakout conversations with colleagues by role
